The wreck of the S.S. Chusan, Weihai (威海), three days after running aground - the bows

Notes

University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: FH01-145. The Butterfield & Swire passenger steamship S.S. Chusan (built in 1914), ran aground near Weihai and sank on the night of 2-3 October 1932. It is possible that this photograph may have been taken longer than three days after the steamer ran aground. See FH01-143, FH01-144 and FH01-146 (more photographs of the wreck of the S.S. Chusan), as well as Sw04-077 and Sw06-028.
