University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Fu-s0162. T.V. Soong (宋子文 Soong Tse-vung / Soong Tse-ven) (1894 – 1971), businessman and Kuomintang politician. Soong was Premier of the Republic of China (31 May 1945 – 1 March 1947). He moved to the USA in 1949. He was the brother of Soong Ch'ing-ling (Song Qingling) (1892 – 1981), the wife of Sun Yat-sen.
