Detail of a photomontage made as a Christmas card, which includes this image of the (British) Royal Navy cruiser HMS Andromeda (see JC-s001 and JC-s002). HMS Andromeda (1897-1956) was one of eight Diadem-class protected cruisers built for the Royal Navy in the 1890s. She served on the China Station from 1904 to 1907. Later renamed HMS Powerful II, HMS Impregnable II and finally HMS Defiance. Weihaiwei (Weihai). See also He01-060 (HMS Argonaut).
