It was an opera theatre and stars like Mei Lanfang performed there. Chinese characters along the top of the print: 戀善團體聫合救宊會救濟戦區難民委員會天蟾收容所. Approximate translation: Lianshan troupe cooperate with the salvation committee to provide relief to the war zone refugee relief committee, Tianchan Theatre collection point.
