Caption in Index: 'To the South of the Godown Block House "F" foot of Yu Ya Ching Road Bridge manned by British troops. South of Creek bank by American Marines. Oct. 29, 1937.' The Continental Bank warehouse is the large building on the right with writing below the roof. This godown was next to the Sihang Warehouse 四行仓库). The godowns were the location of part of the Battle of Shanghai, as dramatised in the (historically inaccurate) blockbuster film 'The Eight Hundred' (八佰 Ba Bai). See JM02-071, JM04-102 and JM04-103.
