Cadbury Research Library archive finding number: DA26/2/2/3 (John Preston Maxwell Papers). Luoyang Bridge (also known as Wan'an Bridge and the Bridge of 10,000 Times Peace) crosses the Luoyang River, at Quanzhou (Chinchew), Fujian. The characters on the print are: 宋蔡忠惠公督造洛阳桥 (which means roughly: Luoyang Bridge - the construction of this bridge was supervised by Cai Xiang in the Song Dynasty). See DH-s023 (the bay and bridge at low tide).
