The sculpture can be found on the Sacred Path (pinyin: shendao: Ch: 神道) at the Ming-dynasty Xiao Ling Mausoleum (pinyin: Ming xiaoling; Ch: 明孝陵). Toss a stone on to the elephant's back - if it stays there, you will have long life, good luck, and a large family.
