Haig, Shanghai, China. The message on the card is: ‘Dear Penelope / I hope you are very well and having a nice. Are you going swimming / now I am swimming in the sea / with love from Majorie’. The aquarium opened in 1932, following an initiative launched by Cai Yuanpei (蔡元).
