This photograph, thought to have been taken soon after the bombing of the railway station on 28 August 1937, is similar to a widely published photograph by H.S. Wong, which is sometimes captioned ‘Bloody Saturday’. The phrase ‘Bloody Saturday’ also refers to bombings on Saturday 14 August 1937.
