University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Mx02-086. Cadbury Research Library archive finding number: DA26/2/2/1 (John Preston Maxwell Papers). This photograph was published in a pamphlet entitled "Presbyterian Church of England / Some Notes From the Amoy Field" and captioned: "PASTOR GAW, OR CHANGPOO, AND HIS FAMILY".  The pamphlet also notes that: "Pastor Gaw was born near An-hai. He was converted as a young man. ... The daughter on the pastor's left has married a mission catechist. ... Pastor Gaw loves to evangelise, and used to accompany Dr. Preston Maxwell on some of his itineration journeys." See Mx02-102.
