The junks, full of dead and wounded Republican soldiers who fled from Hanyang when it was captured by the Imperialists. The Imperialists shot at and killed many of the fugitives. These junks drifted to the British Concession, where the wounded were taken to the hospitals. / Preparing the dead for burial.
