Transcription: 通告 / 为通告事, 查本月二十九日为黄花岗七十二烈士殉国纪念日,是日,  本会全体工友停工一天以哀悼, 除函厂方外特此通告 / 中华民国二十二年三月二十八日 / 上海第五区卷烟业工会. A translation: Announcement / The 29th of this month - the anniversary of the death of the 72 martyrs of the Huanghuagang uprising (Second Guangzhou Uprising, 23rd April 1911) - is the moment in which all fellow workers of our organisation will stop work for the day in order to mourn.
