University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: GA01-042.  Photograph by Felice Beato. It shows the south side of the inner (or upper) North Taku Fort, after its capture and before the dead bodies of Chinese soldiers were removed. An annotation in pencil (67")  has been added by the flag on the right of the photograph.  The 67th (South Hampshire) Regiment of Foot was the regiment Atchison served in.  See "Of Battle and Beauty - Felice Beato's Photographs of China" by David Harris (Santa Barbara Museum of Art, 1999) - Catalogue 19.  See RH-s01.
