University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Mi01-028. Morrison Hall was a hostel providing accommodation for Chinese students at the nearby Hong Kong University. It was established by the London Missionary Society. The LMS suggested the name ‘Morrison Hall’ to commemorate Rev. Robert Morrison (1782-1834).
