Henry John Ball (1820-1874) was the Judge of the Court of Summary Jurisdiction in Hong Kong, where he also held other official positions including Chief Justice, Colonial Secretary, Attorney General and member of the Executive and Legislative Councils. His Hong Kong residence, Ball's Court, was located at the junction of High Street and Western Street in Sai Ying Pun (西營盤), Hong Kong Island.
