A steamer moored at a harbour

University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Os05-035. Photo from an album (UoB reference Os05) kept in the School of Oriental and African Studies Archives, London (SOAS reference MS 380 876/5). The Japanese flag at the stern and the funnel marking indicate that this is a steamer of the Osaka Shosen Kaisha of Osaka. The likely location is Yantai (Chefoo). There appears to be collision damage in the bridge area (forward part of the superstructure).
