The Tan Chueh Ssu (T'an Chou Ssu) Monastery (Monastery of Clear Pools and Wild Mulberry), Western Hills, Peking (Beijing). The ancient monastery is six miles north-west of Chieh T'ai Ssu. Both monasteries feature in the novel ‘Peking Picnic’ by Ann Bridge (1932).
