University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Bo01-083. The Bronze Pagoda (Pavilion of Precious Clouds), was made entirely of cast bronze in 1755. The Bronze Pavilion survived the 1860 burning - and the looting that followed the Boxer Uprising - with minimal damage. New Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), Peking (Beijing).
