A portrait of a distinguished man (perhaps Li Hongzhang?)

University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Bo02-046. The caption in the album for this photo (42. Pagoda at Yuh-wǒng Z.) is incorrect. The man photographed here could perhaps be Li Hongzhang  (Li Hung-chang; Li Huang Chang) (1823-1901). Li, a high-ranking official of the late-Qing,  who played a seminal role in promoting the modernisation of China in the late nineteenth century?
