(i.e. Heavenly Youth's Monastery). The European man is most likely Edward C.M. Bowra. Tien-dong (Tiantong Si; The Temple or Monastery of the Heavenly Child; 天童寺), near Ningpo (Ningbo).  A famous Chan (Zen) Buddhist temple. See also Bo02-048.
