Buddhist-Mongol temple at Ting Yuan-ning, west of Yellow River, about 100 miles west of Ninghsia, summer 1949. Civil Air Transport landed Cessna on stone-cluttered runway. E.V. Wong, riding pilot, said he had to check gas tanks because if he had one p9ound overweight we co8uld not negotiate pass through mountains , also running along west bank of Yellow River north of Ninghsia.
