Sir Thomas Francis Wade GCMG KCB (1818-1895), British diplomat and sinologist (Wade-Giles Romanisation). Sir Thomas was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary, and Chief Superintendent of British Trade in China.
