University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Bo02-068. The Confucius Temple in Chinhai (Zhenhai) (镇海). The three Chinese characters on the building are: 镇海学. The hill behind, on the right, is Zhaobai Mountain (招宝山). The Weiyuan Citadel (威远城) and Baotuo Temple (宝陀禅寺) are on the top of this hill – see Bo02-056, Bo02-064 and Bo02-098.
