University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: JS-s114. General Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart VC dressed for flying and about to leave Peking (Beijing) on the Royal Air Force Dakota behind him.  The RAF officer on the left of Sir Adrian might be one of the Dakota pilots. John Stanfield also left Peking on this flight. See JS03-22, JS03-55, JS03-56, JS04-106, JS04-107.
