Steen, James Collection
James Connolly Steen worked in China from about 1914 until at least 1941. According to the entry in his old school’s alumni magazine, he was Engineer-in-Chief for the Canton-Hankow Railway. This collection of five photographs is held at Archives & Special Collections, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, along with other items found in a suitcase. HPC ref: Sn-s.
